“A Need for Speed: tips for Fielding Responsive Space Systems”

Ari Sandberg serves as a program manager and AI&T lead in the Tactical Space Systems group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. She is passionate about accelerating the development cadence of space missions and leveraging lessons learned from commercial space. She has led assembly and integration activities for both traditional and rapid development civil and national security space missions, including the LEMNOS optical communication systems, the Agile MicroSat low-flying small satellite, and defense payloads fielding novel technologies. Previously, Ari served as a solar array engineer for SpaceX’s Starlink mega-constellation from initial concept to roll-out of hundreds of vehicles on-orbit.

Mr. Devon Lindeboom is a Program Manager for the Tranche 1 Tracking Layer (T1TRK) at the Space Development Agency (SDA), whose mission is to quickly deliver capabilities to the warfighter in operationally relevant timeframes. Prior to joining SDA, Mr. Lindeboom spent over a decade at Space Systems Command (SSC) in a variety of acquisition and program management roles in the SATCOM and National Security Space Launch (NSSL) mission areas. Mr. Lindeboom began his civil service career at the Space and Missile Systems Center as a Presidential Management Fellow. Prior to his civilian service career, he served 6 years of active duty in the U.S. Navy in the nuclear submarine community.
